‘The Golem and the Jinni'

This showcase explores the dialogue between silver and gold, led by award-winning silversmith Jessica Jue, renowned for her sculptural forms and use of 24-carat gold. The exhibition highlights works that incorporate these precious metals in innovative ways.

“The Jinni roamed wherever he would. He used these trips as opportunities to search for veins of silver and gold, for the jinn are natural metalsmiths... He could work the metals into strands no thicker than a hair, or into sheets, or twisted ropes.”
