Join our weekly jewellery class, where you’ll find a welcoming and supportive space to explore and refine your skills. Perfect for aspiring jewellers and silversmiths of all experience levels, this 10-week course offers the opportunity to work on personal projects under the expert guidance of a skilled tutor. Over ten 2.5-hour session, you will have plenty of time to focus, practice, and create in a relaxed and inspiring environment.


Whether you’re a complete beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or a more experienced maker looking to refine your skills, this course provides the perfect balance of hands-on learning, inspiration, and personalised feedback to help you achieve your creative goals.


Set in the FORGE workshop, you’ll be surrounded by an ever-changing display of inspirational jewellery from our monthly showcases, designed to spark new ideas and encourage your creative journey.


Please note: Materials are not included and can be purchased as needed throughout the course. Your tutor will provide guidance on what materials to buy based on your projects.

What will I make?


You’ll design and create your own unique jewellery pieces, working on your own designs or from projects set by the tutor. With their guidance, you’ll apply the skills learned during the course to bring your creative ideas to life. Projects can include rings, pendants, earrings, or bracelets—tailored to your interests and skill level.


What will happen during the course?


Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll explore a wide range of fundamental jewellery making techniques, gaining essential technical skills and growing in creative confidence. Here’s what you can expect:



  • Learn essential jewellery-making skills, including piercing, soldering, annealing, filing, texturing, roll-milling, forming, doming, and polishing.

  • Gain confidence in using jewellery tools and equipment correctly.

  • Work on personal designs, with your tutor offering suggestions to help refine your ideas.

  • Develop both technical skills and an understanding of jewellery design, enabling you to create professional-quality pieces.

  • Collaborate and share inspiration with a small group of like-minded participants in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.


Each week builds on the last, ensuring you progress at your own pace while gaining momentum and confidence in your abilities. Whether your goal is to pursue jewellery making as a hobby or take steps toward a professional career, this course offers the tools, techniques, and inspiration to help you succeed.


What skills do I need?


All levels Workshops that are designed to be flexible and accommodate all skill levels.


What should I bring?


- Materials are not included in the course and will need to be purchased beforehand. Your tutor can guide you on what to buy based on your project ideas.


- If you’re already working on a piece and would like guidance or advice, feel free to bring it along.


- Reading glasses (if you need them!)


- Notebook and Pen


What should I wear? 


Clothes: Casual and not too precious as they may get a bit dusty or damaged.  Avoid long, loose fitting sleeves and anything that might catch or get caught whilst you are working.


Shoes: Casual flat shoes and no open toed sandals in case you drop a hammer or something hot on them!


Hair: Tie long hair back.
