What will I make?

You will make a beaded kite shape. You will have the opportunity to turn this into a pendant or create a pair of earrings even adding a tasselled fringe if time allows. The technique you learn is a widely used stitch which you can then master and use to create your own beaded jewellery.

What will happen on the day?

You will be welcomed in and introduced to your fellow beaders. As you wait for everyone to arrive you will be able to peruse a range of stunning beaded pieces to gain inspiration for your own work. Once everyone has arrived you will be provided with a vibrant selection beads, the needles and a pattern to follow. The instructor will then demonstrate the technique and guide you step by step to create of your own piece. You will initially make a beaded kite shape that you can turn into either a pendent or a pair of earrings. If time allows you can even add a tasselled fringe to your piece.
