Yimeng Liu
Yimeng Liu (Jade) is a Chinese jewellery artist graduating from the Royal College of Art. Working across contemporary jewellery and wearable objects, her practice explores the relationship between body, land, memory and belonging. Materiality lies at the centre of her practice. Through experimentation with materials, traditional craft processes and cultural research, she investigates how making itself can generate meaning. Her work reflects on the ways materials carry memory, connect personal experience with broader cultural histories, and shape our understanding of place, identity and time. Her work Refuge was selected for the WHISPERer exhibition, presented as part of London Craft Week 2026.
