About Stephen Webster

Internationally renowned for his fearless design, traditional craftsmanship, and cutting edge processes; Stephen Webster’s unique approach has assured him industry-wide recognition. Taking influence from art, fashion, music, literature, and the natural world, Stephen’s collections are always fuelled by his own nomadic life experiences and cross cultural references, all the while paying homage to state-of-the-art techniques and British craftsmanship.

Since first established in 1989, Stephen continues to break the rules of fine jewellery with designs that are intelligent, thought-provoking, and visionary. Stephen’s keen eye for detail, commitment to ethical production and respect for traditional British craftsmanship and goldsmithing, have helped him achieve numerous accolades. Webster was bestowed with an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University of Creative Arts in 2007 for his outstanding contribution to the arts and holds the honour of being a Liveryman of the City of London.

In 2013, HRH The Prince of Wales presented Webster with an MBE in the New Year Honours list for his services to training and skills in the British Jewellery Industry. In 2015 he was named Jewellery Designer of The Year at the 13th annual GEM awards, in 2018, in Las Vegas, he was presented with the Couture Design Award for ‘Best in Innovation’.
