Silverkupe Jewellery
Emine Thompson is the artist behind Silverkupe, an independent jewellery studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. A self-taught jeweller with a background in 3D modelling, she combines technical skill with a love of making to create contemporary pieces in recycled silver and gold, including limited-edition collections and bespoke commissions. Her practice explores the relationship between material, process and form. Her Seed Series explores colour, texture and the interaction of different techniques, while her Fold Series examines transformation through folding and surface manipulation, balancing intentional design with the unpredictability of making. Each piece celebrates individuality, resulting in tactile, sculptural and enduring jewellery designed to be worn as bold statements or subtle accents.
