Yan Shi

Shane is a London-based contemporary jewellery artist currently pursuing an MA in Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art. Trained as a jewellery appraiser, evaluator, and jade carving artist, his practice bridges refined craftsmanship and conceptual inquiry. His work has been exhibited internationally in Beijing, Los Angeles, London, Europe, etc., and featured in publications including Youth Vision, China Daily, Sina News, and The Art Insider. In 2026, he received an Award from the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council, recognising excellence in craftsmanship within the UK jewellery industry. 


Recent exhibitions include No Longer, Not Yet at the Barbican Centre Conservatory, the AUTOR 2026 at the National Museum of Romanian History, The Invisible Made Visible by Blackdot Gallery during London Craft Week, the Slovenia Jewellery Week 2026, and FORGE Third Anniversary Exhibition.
