Seren Cheng
Seren Cheng is a London-based jewellery artist currently studying Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art, having graduated from London College of Fashion. Her practice explores the traces of time embedded in materials and how crafted objects can reshape perception and experience. Inspired by ordinary industrial components, she employs a minimalist visual language to investigate subtle psychological tensions within contemporary society. Working across metal, wood and stone, Seren develops each piece through a material-responsive process guided by observation and experimentation. She values careful handcraft and believes jewellery can create meaningful encounters with materials, encouraging people to perceive the physical world in new ways.
