Her focus eventually turned into making jewellery.  On graduating she went on to win one of 12 grants from the Crafts Council NZ for New emerging craft artists.

Once back in the UK she became an apprentice to a local goldsmith, and spent 8 years as a bench jeweller.  Eventually Cindy took the leap to become self employed and started exhibiting at all the major Craft Fairs across the country with an awarding winning “potting shed” display and a botanically themed collection of work, developing her signature style and recognisable brand of delicate hand pierced patterns and motifs.

Today her work features her passion for brightly coloured  gemstones, big bold shapes and colours using recycled gems when possible and recycled gold and silver.  She is happy to work on bespoke commissions, wedding and engagement rings and remodel and recycle customers sentimental heirloom pieces into something new .
