PLI
PLI is a London-based contemporary jewellery brand founded by Ziyi Sun and Shiru Sun, both graduates of the Royal College of Art’s Jewellery & Metal programme. Rooted in material exploration, PLI focuses on the relationship between folding, structure and rhythm. Working primarily with metal, the brand explores how repeated gestures and controlled transformations create subtle variations in form, texture and movement.
The name PLI, meaning ‘fold’ in French, reflects this approach to making. Through repeated folding and experimentation, each piece develops its own character while remaining part of a shared visual language. Balancing softness with structure, PLI combines minimal forms with intricate details, celebrating the possibilities of metal through thoughtful making and continuous exploration.
