Nicola Lillie is a contemporary jeweller and silversmith. Capturing flow in solid form, Nicola creates objects that are tactile and completed through engagement with the body. Harnessing the haptic qualities of silver, Nicola’s pieces gain patina, warmth and meaning through being held. This body of work - “thresholds” examines vapour as a material metaphor for the changeable nature of lived experience, and is accompanied by a body of contemporary poetry.
