May Showcase: Emma Farquharson
A love of travel, nature and architecture inform Emma ’s work and as an avid photographer she likes to play with contrast and patterning to add subtle highlights or striking accents. Her work is infused with visual influences of the places she has lived. Emma’s use of light and shadow recalls the reflection of sunlight on the sea in the Bahamas where she spent her childhood and referencing New York’s gleaming skyscrapers, other designs catch the eye by contrasting polished, textured and matt surfaces.
