Join us at FORGE for an informal evening to celebrate and say farewell (for now) to Alex Skachkov, Director of Misfit Diamonds UK, who is returning to Canada after successfully establishing Misfit’s UK presence over the past three years.

Alex first visited FORGE shortly after opening in 2023, and a friendship quickly formed. At that time, both FORGE and Misfit were building new ventures in London, while Alex and Amanda were each beginning a new personal adventure — a shared moment that has shaped a lasting connection.

For those less familiar with Misfit Diamonds, they are an international sapphire and diamond supplier known for their distinctive, often unconventional stones, with a strong focus on responsible sourcing and transparency.

Over the past few years, Alex has become a valued part of the FORGE community, a regular at talks, LINK-UPs and Private Views, and a generous supporter of FORGE, as you can see in the carousel of images. Misfit Diamonds has also supported FORGE through sponsorship, reflecting a shared commitment to a more forward-thinking jewellery industry.

While Alex is returning to Canada and will remain part of Misfit’s global team, we are pleased that our relationship with Misfit will continue as Ashley Gallant takes over leading the UK. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Ashley and view a curated selection of Misfit sapphires and diamonds during the evening.

We’ll also be bringing out the table tennis table again, following a previous LINK-UP where Alex proved to be surprisingly good and competitive! So guests are welcome to challenge him to a final game!
