Helena Symes Jewellery
Helena Symes is an award-winning jeweller based in Hampshire. Her practice is rooted in a background in Fine Art (Painting) and shaped by extensive travel. She began making jewellery while living in India, studying under a jeweller in Rajasthan, and has continued to develop her work through experimentation and self-directed learning. Helena’s jewellery reflects a deep appreciation for form, movement and the unexpected beauty of discarded objects. Working with recycled sterling silver, hand-dyed aluminium, discarded drinks cans and wine bottle sleeves, she introduces vivid colour and contrast into her pieces. Her work celebrates transformation and sustainability through striking, contemporary design.
