GlassSubterra
GlassSubterra is a collection of wearable glass art by Flo Yuting Zhu, exploring hidden terrains and subdued emotions through the metaphor of a subterranean world. In her lampworking studio, Flo Yuting Zhu sculpts and manipulates molten glass over a 1200°C flame, translating forms, textures and tension drawn from subterranean landscapes and personal mythology into sculptural borosilicate jewellery. Her translucent works feel elusive and drenched in stories, like tender relics retrieved from the wilderness of Subterra.
