Creating a modern mythology in jewellery, Gemma’s work is inspired by the devotional animal art of ancient civilisations, exploring the human story through the contemporary lens of bespoke and one-of-a-kind pieces. From families of tiny golden ducks to strong, proud felines, sinuous serpents to implacable owls, these compelling, covetable creatures act as a comfort, a companion, and a precious talisman for their owners.
Gemma uses traditional goldsmithing skills and works with recycled gold and gems that are reclaimed or sourced from trusted suppliers with strong ethical credentials.
