We are absolutely thrilled to have Jos Skeates & Shakti Ellenwood in-conversation at FORGE. Two amazing individuals who businesses have been recognised for their transparency, inclusivity and sustainably. They are leading the way for change in our industries business practice.
Jos Skeates, Founder of EC One has long championed sustainability and has recently finished the long process of obtaining B-Corp Status for his Jewellery Retail Store, EC One.
Shakti Ellenwood creates ethical, Fairtrade jewellery and she has the highest earning score of all jewellers in the UK to be voted “Best For The World 2022” for her commitment to giving back. In 2022 she donated over 2% of her sales to social and environmental causes.
They will discuss their ethical and sustainable practices and share the difficult journey to becoming B-Corp certified.
B Corps are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance people, planet and profit. Excitingly they are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
